Back from 1 to 8 August 2015 Capalbio Books, the festival on the pleasure of reading in the square and on the web. Now in its ninth year, the festival, conceived and directed by Andrea Zagami, organized by communications firm Zigzag in collaboration with the Municipality of Capalbio, will take place as usual in Magenta Square, the heart of the medieval village of Capalbio.
 The festival will be presented to the press Thursday, July 30 at 12 am in the Board Room of the Palace of the Province of Grosseto, the Mayor of Capalbio Luigi Bellumori and the Director of Capalbio Books Andrea Zagami.
 FESTIVAL - "Capalbio Books Festival on the pleasure of reading, in the square, on the net", born in 2007, nine years experience new ways to promote books and reading. Topics of current interest to the public and are treated together with the authors of essays and novels presented with a professional management and with the participation of journalists, personalities of culture and politics. Artists and musical performances in keeping with the subject matter, along with the reading of passages from the books presented, accompanied by meetings and contribute to the success of children's books Capalbio.

PARTNERSHIP - The festival is organized by the Municipality of Capalbio with the patronage of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities (MIBACT), Region Tuscany, Province of Grosseto.
 WHAT TO SEE IN CAPALBIO - Capalbio is a small but charming medieval village in southern Tuscany, in the heart of Maremma, steeped in ancient history and rich natural contrasts, between sea, bush and countryside. The old town is full of places to visit: the splendid Porta Senese, the frescoes in the church of San Nicola, the tower aldobrandesca, Collacchioni the building which houses the Conrad Graf fortepiano played by Puccini, the oratory of Providence with the precious fresco Our Lady of Providence, attributed to Perugino and Pinturicchio.
 The beaches of Capalbio extend for about 12 km, but there are only 3 access to the sea: the beginning, the end and in the center. Thanks to the presence of the WWF and access free but limited, the coast is perfectly preserved. There are approximately 6 km of beach bordered by the Mediterranean. There is also the Garden of the Tarot, with gigantic sculptures about 12/15 meters high, representing the 22 Major Arcana cards.
